It's Friday, Kittens, and you know what that means. You've waited all week with images of Daniel Dae Kim, Shemar Moore and Jason Berh wondering through your lovely thoughts, leaving you breathless as to who would join them as today's Crush Of The Week.

Well, Kittens, breathe and wonder no more, for today's Crush of the Week is Hugh Jackman

Yes, we're talking Wolverine, The Boy From Oz, Kate and Leopold, The Fountain, Swordfish and the Van Helsing-y goodness (at least he looked good, let's not talk about the actual movie) that is Hugh Jackman

I'm sure everyone who is a fan has their favorite movie, favorite, role, and favorite moment that made Jackman one to admire of swoon for depending on your personality. I fell in love with Hugh during Inside The Actor's Studio and later that night a profile on Biography. From the accent, to the body, to the comic-book character goodness, (even if he's a foot taller than Wolverine was written), there's a lot of surface things to love about Hugh, but it was the interview and the depth of his love for his family that captured me. He's not just someone whose genes I want for my future offspring, he's someone I'd want to sit next to and talk about life with, and that's a rare total package Kittens.

So, onto Hugh. Enjoy

You all know I have a thing for a man that cleans up well

And there's something to be said for just cleaning up

And I'm soft-hearted for the sweet moments

And for those of you doing beta/critique, I introduce you to Kalin

Yes, I didn't resize because it's Hugh and I didn't have to.

Tomorrow, another talk on Character Crushes. Until then...

Yep, with a spoon. So what series/story is Kalin from? You willing to talk a bit about him?

Wow. He looks so different in each photo. And the last one at first glance I thought you got messed up cuz it almost looks like ahem...Alyn.

You are always welcome, Luv.

When you're done with your edits and have more time, I'll send you the rest of BloodSprite so that you can have extended HJM in the guise of Kalin. :)

Kalin is in BloodSprite, the first novel of the Dante Books in the TherianWorld Series. ((Ooo, that sounds all lovely and official doesn't it?))

He's an Ursid Submissive that comes to live with the main character and Second Beta-head in her Sect.

And yet...he's so much more. lOl

I love how versatile his look can be.

And you, Sweets, know better than anyone that when you get right down to it, I most certainly have a type. It's why you'll notice such resemblences. ;)

I's can't help myself.

I very much want your opinion now that I've put it through another bout of critiques and revision.

And it won't even require any intensive critique, I'll be happy with basic beta content reads and plot hole notification. Image (http://photobucket.com)

Cuz you know how that goes, you fix one thing only to realize you've pulled something else apart and not even noticed.

Oh yes I do. If it kills me, I'm going to finish my edit this week.

I admire the dedication. Personally, here's hoping it doesn't kill you. Maybe just a light coma at worse.

Writing always comes down to Image (http://photobucket.com)

When the book is going well you're holding the whip and the plot is left to obey. But when it stops flowing or it's time for edits, you're the one in chains.

Such is the creative process, eh?

The editing process is so much harder than writing that's for sure. And I can't write and edit at the same time. That's the biggest reason I need to get done. I want to finish Ashes to Ashes, and get ready for Nano this year.

I keep thinking about NaNo too. I have so many things struggling to push to the front of the line that I can't wait to have a solid focus on one thing for a full 30 days. I don't know which one gets to be the Nano project yet, I'm hoping to be pretty far on the first two things in my mind that they don't qualify.

I've got mine all figured out. It's a YA starring Jace's daughter Rose who's helping a friend hide from the Department of Supernatural Affairs.

Aaahh, why'd you do that? Now you opened up another avenue of thought. I'd been avoiding thinking about YA despite having two ideas come to mind that could be YA.

Image (http://photobucket.com) No, no, no. Will not do YA, will not, I will not.
