xakaraHappy Kwanzaa Y'all!
I had a moving and brilliant post on how the seven principles of Unity, Self-Determination, Collective Work and Responsibility, Cooperative Economics, Purpose, Creativity, and Faith reflected in the online communities that have come together and grown up over the last decade. It would have lifted your spirits, brought you to tears, caused you to rejoice and reaffirmed your beliefs in everything that was good and right in the world. It was wonderful. Then the nine hours I just worked caught up with me and suddenly I couldn't remember a word of it....
Happens.
Whatever you celebrated and have still to celebrate this Holiday Season, I hope that it was/is blessed and fulfilling. May your new year be the beginning of every good thing you want for yourself, your loved ones, and the world.
On this first day of Kwanzaa embody the principle of Unity and come together with someone who needs you. It could make a greater difference in their lives than you could ever guess.
