Greetings, Kittens!

I'm still in the midst of revisions and thought I'd share 13 songs from my various writing playlists. I have about thirty different lists that I listen to, so to narrow down my choices we'll make this is the semi-retro edition and use older songs only.

Enjoy.

A good selection--I recognize at least half of those. Hope you have a good and safe trip up to Mad Town!

Thank you, Heather! I'll write all about it when I get back. It's a great Science Fiction/Fantasy convention so I'll get several great T13's out of it!

I love You and Me by Lifehouse!! :) Also like The Plain White T's and Three Doors Down. Good playlist!!

I do remember when vampires were only in scary movies- my how times have changed. Glad to find another Jonathan Brandis fan. It's such a tragic story. :( It's so sad when a young person takes their own life. :(

Happy TT!

To this very day I still get paused by the fact he was in such a bad place and surrounded by so many people and no one saw it in time. It's so...sigh, yeah, tragic. I'm the kind of person that holds on to things like that, especially actors I'm deeply fond of. I'm still not over Heath Ledger either. In my head I saw him in the movie version of one of my books for years and his sudden loss...I can't explain.

But thanks for coming by!

Happy TT,

My headphones aren't working right now, but I can hear some of the songs in my head just by reading the titles.

I hadn't heard some of them for years and then I came across them while looking at Supernatural fanvids and had to look up the originals. Music is such a love of mine, I love youtube to bits!

I picked #8 to listen to. Haven't heard Alanis in a long time. It was a strange video and not as much of a structured song as her older songs were. I like Tom Petty and REM. On to that! http://looseleafnotes.com

I love Alanis, I could do a T13 of her alone. I like Unsent because of what it represents. We all have those past relationships that we'd like to sit and write a letter to years after we've matured beyond it. I perfectly saw where she was going with it and have loved it from first listen.

Tom Petty, I don't even know where I developed a love of his stuff but it's there. I might have to give him a T13 as well!

Finally!!!

Songs I recognize and know well! Wait. You said these were "older" didn't you?

How embarrassing for me.

Happy (belated) TT!

I love these kind of posts because they either remind me of songs I love that I forgot about, or give me new ones to listen to. Thanks for stopping by my blog!

It's always wonderful to rediscover those tunes that made you smile back in the day. :)

I don't think I know number two and number 8 probably would not be on my top list but other than that...EXCELLENT pics!!! Love them all.

I can't explain number two aside from his voice. It's depressing and harsh, but it's a great song that he sings beautifully. Number 8 was eventually released, but I discovered it the day I got the cd and it caught me because it was a perfect capture of all those things we'd love to say to the people we've dated, or should have dated, or should never have dated, from the perspective of wiser adults.

Thanks for coming by!
