Crush of the Week

Hello Lovelies, 

As I've been under the weather and feeling adrift lately, the only logical choice for this Friday was a doctor that could sympathize with being Lost. Yes, Kittens, today's Crush of the Week is Matthew Fox. 

Well before he chose to vacation on Mystery Island, Matthew worked his way into the hearts of the public for six years as Charlie Salinger on the FOX drama Party of Five. The role led to Matthew being named one of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People in 1996. 

The close of Party of Five led Matthew to another starring role in the brief paranormal drama Haunted. In in, Matthew plays a private investigator who finds he's able to communicate with the dead after his own near-death experience. It was cancelled after only 7 episodes but it served as a perfect launchpad to place Matthew and Paranormal in the same sentence, leading to his casting as Dr. Jack Shepard in the 2004 launch of LOST. Interestingly enough, Matthew initially auditioned for the role of Sawyer but was so impressive in his reading as Jack that he was given the lead role.

Lost will air for a total of six seasons, concluding on the 117th episode in 2010. It resumes airing in America Thursday January 31st, 2008.

I am so with you this week. This is one of those guys that when I saw him on Pof5 I thought, oh hot...if only I was younger. But now that he has aged a bit (ok and I am a LOST addict)he matured into vada vada boom! for me, lol.
