xakara: (Shifting Passions)
[personal profile] xakara
Hello Kittens,

I had many topics in mind this week, but with the 26th so close at hand, I'm combining our exploration of alternate lifestyles and various sexual orientations with responsible business practice and tossing out a bit of promo. My Paranormal Romance novella comes out in ebook format in five days Lovelies, so today I bring you 13 Reasons You Should Download SHIFTING PASSIONS on Tuesday.

Enjoy.

13 Reasons To Download SHIFTING PASSIONS February 26th

1. Affection ~ You like me. You really, really, like me. (Gotta love Sally Field).

2. Size ~ It's a novella, so you can sit down and consume it one sitting like any good guilty pleasure.

3. Global Warming ~ It's an ebook, so it's a green product and you can feel environmentally conscious while getting your romance on.

4. Sex ~ It has sex and sex is good.

5. Comfort Zones ~ It's a menage a trios/poly-romance so it will expand your horizons.

6. Comfort Zones ~ It's a menage a trios/poly-romance and if that's your thing, here's a taste with more to come.

7. Insider Information ~ It's an introduction to a larger world that will be revealed in detail later in BLOODSPRITE. Reading SHIFTING PASSIONS and the pending second novella will prep you for the novel (and things that unfold in the series).

8. Insurance ~ You want to buy and tell your friends who tell their friends, because the better my sales, the more stories I can bring you which you love because -- see #1

9. Curiosity ~ You've read excerpts and gotten a taste of my style through my blog, now you get to see what happens when an editor gets to direct my ramble and make it shine.

10. Satisfaction ~ Some of you have waited nearly as long as I have for this release and now you can finally fulfill that craving to know what happens and how my voice carries over into my writing.

11. Masochism ~ Many of you waiting for SHIFTING PASSIONS have wanted BLOODSPRITE even more because you want info on my Therian World. Tuesday's release of SHIFTING PASSIONS will give you just enough info to know how much you really need SPRITE to come out already. (Ah, but it hurt so good)

12. Feedback ~ Once you all read PASSIONS I'll be taking questions and feedback, some of which may shape future novellas and novels not to mention become forum discussions and help expand my world into a community. Yeah, didn't know this was going to be interactive did you?

13. Investment Opportunity ~ Emotionally speaking that is. It's a chance to jump in on my first release and follow me as my career grows and develops and that's always nifty. I know first hand as I've been blessed to catch some other authors from their day one debut and watch their successes as if they were my own.

14. Affections ~ I'll like you. I'll really, really, like you.

I was already sold before I read your TT! I'm going to buy it. #1 is certainly true, but what has Sally Field got to do with anything?

Thank you sweety, I appreciate it!

And just in case you aren't kidding, or someone else also didn't catch it "You like me, you really, really like me" is from Sally Field's 1985 Oscar speech when she won for Places in the Heart. (Minor side trivia: it's not actually what she said but it's the way it's been remembered and quoted and self-spoofed by her as such)

Sally Field for the win! Good luck, break an e-leg, and all that jazz.

Very exciting times.

Very exciting times

I saw this and had the scene with Tank and Neo in my head from The Matrix. (Which shows just how much I've seen it *headshake*)

Thanks for the luck!

I love shared excitement!

And sure, I'll look for the contact info on the sites of those who said there were interested and send out an email. If I can't find info, I'll stop by and leave comments for you guys as a reminder :)

Thank you deeply. I'm very grateful to get feedback on it, as this is my first time at the rodeo and I'm learning as I go. :)

Thank you sweetie! I'll give you my photobucket link to my cover pic and you can mention it in as much depth as you like. From "Hey, guess what came out", to a full interview if you like. It's all good in my book. *Grin*

We can work out more details in PM and/or email.

So glad to see you posting again.

I added a link to your website on my website. Send me the link for the cover. I did a copy of yours but it's a little blurry. Check it out when you get a chance. www.lianemanso.com Then under blogs is a list of writers websites. We should definitely do an interview some time next week on one of my blogs. I'm buying your ebook as soon as it comes out and moving it to the top of my TBR pile. We'll do an interview after I finish it. I read quick.

Love how you both opened and closed ala Sally Field. I also appreciate you encouraging us to do our part for the environment. And who can't stand having their horizons expanded a bit? (Thanks for visiting my TT)

I'm glad you love it. I'm not even sure when it started. Just one of those personally quirks I likely couldn't stop if I tried. :)

I have plans for release day that have nothing to do with writing, so I'm sure I'll definitely enjoy it. Thanks.

Yay, an eFan, wonderful! I caught you just in time. I hope SHIFTING PASSIONS is to your liking and you can give me feedback as a fan of ebooks. :)

I'm getting an eReader for my birthday this summer so I'll be reading some 60% of my books in eformat soon. I love paperbacks, but I love trees and portability too, so if the eReader is comfortable on my eyes, I'm all for it.

Talk to you soon.

I really, really DO like you and Nicholas is going to get a copy of it...but though I loooove your writing, I can't stand reading (or watching anything) involving LOOOOOOOVE or sex or any of that. Isn't that sad? I don't know why; I've always been like this.

So I will have to skip all those parts!
