That is SO something that would happen to me, like the time I slipped on a wet spot on my kitchen floor while carried a full litter box. Fucked up the ankle, but somehow managed not to get dirty litter all over myself...

Upside, I wasn't carrying anything or anyone.

I could have fallen with a hand full of glass or worse, my hands full with my goddessdaughter.

So all in all, not so bad an outcome. Nothing broken on my or anyone els.

I understand the cringe, I have some long term knee issues from a car accident.

Last summer I severely hurt the left knee, and didn't stop limping fully until January. And the left ankle I twisted so bad it looked like someone had slipped half a tennis ball under my skin where it swelled. So both are always more susceptible to injury. It's a mess.
