THE RULES:
1. Leave me a comment saying anything random, like your favorite lyric to your current favorite song. Or your favorite kind of sandwich. Something random. Whatever you like.
2. I'll respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.*
3. Update your LJ with the completely honest answers to the questions.
4. Include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions
*I'm changing this rule -- You have to actually say you're up for this. I don't want people hesitating on commenting/questioning my answers because they'd rather not become part of a meme chain.
Procrastination done, I'm off to the store finally and then back to writing.

1. Are you a fan of Sin City and why?
~The movie? No. The comic? No. Las Vegas? Most definitely. I still remember skipping out of studying for finals at USC to head off to Vegas for the weekend and regain sanity. It was a great time. I had another mental break vacation there a few years later that was just as much fun, yet we really didn't do much either time. It was just a matter of being there, and people watching and doing a little bit of gambling in the "off season" so it wasn't crowded but still full of interesting folks.
2. Favorite shoes?
~ New Balance cross-trainers. I'm all about the comfort. But right there, tied for favorite, are Chinese Maryjanes. They're just so cute.
3. If you had a super power, what would it be?
~ Biomolecular Manipulation. I'd want to be able to use it on myself and others (effortlessly), and to intrinsically understand it so that I could explain to scientists exactly what I was manipulating to end diseases, repel viruses, alter metabolisms, reverse aging, and ensure health in the global populace.
4. Walk up to your bookshelf and please list first five titles on the middle shelf.
~Salem's Lot (Stephen King), Firestorm (Rachel Caine), For a Few Demons More (Kim Harrison), Wicked Lovely (Melissa Marr), The Harlequin (Laurell K. Hamilton)
5. Boxers or briefs?
~Boxer-briefs. I like the look because they hug the body, but cover enough that a guy doesn't look pornographic. I can appreciate a naked guy, and a clothed guy, but there's something about a scrap of cloth masquerading as clothing that is just a little sleazy. Don't ask, I can't explain.
