Apparently not a @#$%&* thing! Our buzzer in the lobby doesn't work so I have to wait downstairs whenever a package comes through UPS. I waited 9 hours, and still nothing. NOTHING. But the website tracking and 1-800 tracking continue to say it's on its way to me. Now I have to go down tomorrow and wait all over again. I don't believe it....And yet, it might have served a purpose. One of those wrath driven purges of psyche that leave you feeling empty and ready to refocus. It doesn't make me any happier, it just makes me less ready to push the button.

I'm going to go and write in my journal and then go sleep until next year. Seeya in 2008.

Between stuff that happened earlier that you read about in my journal and getting over that with a short nap, being totally distracted by Lost, and goofing around dracschick virtual party, I didn't realize I hadn't switched ICQ to regular.

Oh, and btw, I wonder if UPS is having issues all the way around.

I ordered a couple of books from Amazon.com that were to be delivered to work today and....nada. Ticked me off since I belong to AmazonPrime and pay a yearly fee for that so am supposed to get things delivered overnight or two days without shipping charges. But if UPS can't follow thru what good is paying the extra?

I'm hoping the UPS order from Amazon shows up tomorrow the way it was estimated. I'm an AmazonPrime member too and they gave Jan 2nd as the delivery date for my last order.

The dvds I was waiting for on Monday were from someplace else but it shows clearly they were in the city on Friday so I can't even complain to anyone save UPS and I can't get a live person to answer a phone there.

*Sigh*

I'll see if both orders arrive tomorrow and decide from there if I ever want to deal with UPS again.

Are they EVER gonna fix that buzzer? It's been broken for like years or something. I hope it comes today. Have you emailed Amazon to tell them the issues with UPS? Since you're paying extra and all.

No, they're never going to fix the buzzer while I still live here. That was given up on years ago. But I'm sure it'll work in the shiny new condos they put here after they get rid of everyone.

And I can't email Amazon on this one, the Amazon order isn't scheduled until tomorrow, I'm waiting for something else to show up right now. If the UPS order doesn't show up as well...let's not contemplate that and just assume both will be here tomorrow.
