Why I've Been Silent...Still

Aside from the anti-tech malaise that is...Well Kittens, the inevitable hath occured. The 30 Day Notice to vacate the premises and get the hell out of dodge so they can convert our building into upscale, overpriced condos was stuck to our door.
 
Dispair not! I'm not left entirely ass-out and hopeless. In fact, I'm pretty prepared for it all, I'd just hoped to get until July 1st rather than May 31st. A packing flurry and mad checking of apartments will cause further silence for the next week or two, (or will cause a continual string of post as I left my mind wander over the possibilities), but after that I'll be back to update you on all that is happening. 

For now I've got calls to make and magic to stir.

Thanks girl! We're downsizing big time, so there are some things you might want to call dibs on before I coax GW into coming by and picking things up.

Aside from the speed at which we much now pack and make final decisions, we're actually quite fine. We're blessed to be in a good position for it, it's just a lot to do in a little amount of time.

We most definitely will. I just wish they'd been honest and given the 60 to 90 day notice we were assured of a ways back. Ah well though, I fortunately didn't believe them so at least it's not a money issue. Just lots of work to get done.

It took longer than I thought as well. I knew their lying asses weren't going to give the 60 to 90 days the slickster who came by months back gave. Ah well, just gotta put my back into it and get all of this stuff sorted and packed now. I'm just grateful it's not a money issue. Most folks aren't that lucky.

Oh that sucks that it didn't work out as you had planned. At least you were a little prepared. Don't work too hard, but I am sure you will get it all handled.

Most definitely! I've got this down! I'd just like an extra month to do it. :)

But I'll be alright, really. I stuck with my gut on staying vigilant and now I'm able to roll with this. It's a blessing.
