We're Here...

 I'm tired beyond words, but I wanted to make sure I let you all know that we got here safe and sound. The flight was great, with just the right amount of turbulance to make it feel like a safety controlled roller coaster...or maybe after 30hrs up I was no longer a credible judge. :)
 
New Mexico is definitely different, but so far I'm enjoying learning ABQ and figuring out my way around it. Again, I acknowledge I'll need sleep to accurately report anything about the city and its residents, but the adventure has begun! Perhaps tomorrow after I've seen more and had the chance to rest further, I'll try to capture what it was like to see the mountains for the first time.

Until then, recovery time :)

If you get the chance, even briefly, I highly recommend it. There is something deeply majestic about seeing the expanse of rising earth that should be experienced by everyone at least once. :)

Thanks girl! Once I'm settled and we start building up our savings again, you and I have got to start talking a trip out to Seattle again. There must be a convention out that way, I can write it off as a business expense. :)

It is indeed both exhausting and fun! I wish things were a bit closer to the neighborhood I'm staying in and the one I want to move to, but I'm sure I'll adapt!

Can't wait to get settled. There's so much for me to catch up on and I miss all you guys.
