We're Here...
May. 29th, 2008 06:41 pm I'm tired beyond words, but I wanted to make sure I let you all know that we got here safe and sound. The flight was great, with just the right amount of turbulance to make it feel like a safety controlled roller coaster...or maybe after 30hrs up I was no longer a credible judge. :)
New Mexico is definitely different, but so far I'm enjoying learning ABQ and figuring out my way around it. Again, I acknowledge I'll need sleep to accurately report anything about the city and its residents, but the adventure has begun! Perhaps tomorrow after I've seen more and had the chance to rest further, I'll try to capture what it was like to see the mountains for the first time.
Until then, recovery time :)
