For the Record...

Writing three separate series, in three separate worlds, with three different mythologies and keeping straight the single overlapping element that shows their parallel development, all at once in hopes of finishing a full novel from each of them within the year while still meeting four novella deadlines is insane.
That is all.

Date: 2009-01-09 06:34 am (UTC)On my long term calendar I have BloodQueen and BloodThrone, The Forgiven and Rise of the Morning Star, and the first part of Camelot Inc. to finish before I can do the first Eternal story. But it will be done, Gunn, Ny, and the others have never left me and what made it to DR was not even a tenth of the story as I know it, so I know it'll have it's day, (year, decade). I just have to get through the other five projects first. (Although I might get to sneak in a draft after BloodQueen and The Forgiven are done and I get them to the folks waiting for them)

Date: 2009-01-09 07:07 am (UTC)I'm working on all three because I need to write down the excerpts and scenes as they come to mind or I forget whatever came to me and it leaves me too frustrated to work on anything at all. Until one of them hit's its stride and I'm completely taken by it, I'm stuck just getting as much "on paper" as I can while it's in my head.
The cracked part is that the worlds are so different that I have to reverse gears because what's true in one is not necessarily true in the others. I'll make it thru, but I need something to focus me a bit back to sanity, or to give me more time to be crazy without negatively impacting our finances.
Here's to hoping...
