Yep, I made a week by a whole forty-two minutes, so yay. :)

My back is not 100% healed, but then again, since the car accident it never has been. But it's near the 92.7% it usually is, I'd say...84.6%, so lovely.

But screw health, onto the important stuff, I wrote.

I mean wrote as in you go back to read it and turn page, after page, after page to catch up with where you plan to write some more. It was glorious. It was magnificent. It was--not the next chapter but the chapter after and the chapters after that. Because you see, I'm missing the chapter inbetween.

Not that I skipped it, (which I'm known to do, hell, I've skipped an entire quarter of a book to write what came to mind), but I can't find it. It's lost. Yes, the great irony of trusting notebooks over computers (since a notebook will never catch an attitude and decide to suddenly not open one morning) is that the notebook is nowhere to be found. In fact, I can't confirm it made the move to New Mexico because if memory is correct, it wasn't written in a story notebook but a journal (because that's all I had on me at the moment the scene struck).

Now if I'd known which book the scene belonged in, I most certainly would have transcribed it months ago when it came to mind (which to be fair, I thought I had, but a search of every file I own turned up nothing), but such is the fact that I now need it and don't have it. Not only do I not have it, but I can't bring myself to rewrite it until I've completely torn the apartment apart again and flipped through every scrap of paper I own just in case it's elsewhere. So for now I insanely just keep writing from where I am, including referencing the missing chapter as best I recall it. I tell you, my muse is not happy unless he's driving me crazy, but that's a power-drunk, metaphysical male for you! (Who would want me to mention yet again is currently named Sebastian. And my, aren't I feeling rather paranthetical tonight).

For those who have missed three to seven rambles a week, I know you perked up because you noticed that I ramble more during the writing phase than any other time. And eventually those rambles include all manner of interesting things on sexuality and psychology. What? Oh, you didn't notice? Wait, I see a hand in the back, ha, knew it.

Anyway, since I have to deal with all manner of writing torture, I must alleviate myself with regular breaks and questions that are unfair because for the most part you'll have insufficient knowledge of the world to answer. But at least....six of you dear readers do and the rest will be unbiased opinions. Yeah, that's it.

Um, I'm going to pull over this bus now because I've forgotten where I was going or how to get there and the GPS isn't working. Sleep, sleep seems good.Hypnos has actually been putting out lately, and he and Sebastian have had some interesting collaborations, so I'm off to surrender to them for a while and let them submit to me as they will.

(P.S. To those of you who understand, Sebastian would like me to inform you he's going by his middle name, his first name being Alyn. And he's sure you knew he'd commandeered the muse position with no concept of ever reliquishing it, some time ago.)
