Oddyssey Con

As I mentioned in my TT I spent the weekend at OddCon in Madison. It was my first Con in ages and I'm definitely glad I went. I didn't realize how much I missed being part of fandom in my years away from conventions and now I can't wait for my next ones and all the ones afterwards. The panels were stimulating and engaging and the days were over too soon.
At the same time I was glad to head home. It was a lot of energy shared with a hotel full of strangers for the first time in several years and I needed the mental break when it finally came. In fact, I'm still recovering a bit from the weekend (read con food and very little nutrition not to mention broken sleep), but it's worth the new direction in my edits and revision and I'd do it again this weekend if I had the chance. :)
Off to rest a bit more and write by hand a bit more, but tomorrow I'm back on track with being online and catching up with everyone.
