Sunday Setup

Okay, the things I need to get done this week. 

Edits: Yeah, I was supposed to be done this weekend, and I am. What I want to do this week is clean up edits, making sure all the find/replace things I used make sense in context. I have some early chapter edits I now need to go through and make sure stay consistant through the entire book. And I of course will have cp comments back this week and need to implement those. So I'm done, but I'm not. 

Cleaning: So didn't happen last week. No good reason. I had to choose between the apartment and writing and I chose writing. 

Book Two: I know I can't force it, but I want to connect the separate sections of book two that I've written so it's a cohesive narrative finally. It can't be helped that separate scenes have come to mind, most from the middle of the book, but I'm ready for it to be a flowing story right about now.

New Project: I need to get all of my handwritten notes transcribed this week so that as new things occur to me I have greater freedom to work on it. It amazes me to say that. It took a long time for me to get more comfortable typing than writing longhand. My notebook is never going to catch an attitude and refuse to open, eating all my hard work. Computers on the other hand are mysterious creatures that can only be trusted so far. But it has happened, I have found a comfort zone with my computer. Who knew?

Blogs: I managed to not only blog six out of seven days last week, but I even got in a blog at one of my communities. I did damn well, so all I want is a repeat performance. Wait, not entirely true, this week I also want to keep up at MySpace as much as it will allow. I let issues with the site keep me from cross-posting last week but I have to step it up now.

Blogs II: This is more about comments. I think I did pretty well last week so I'm making a concrete goal this week. I want to make sure I comment on at least one blog a day with a goal for three a day. I need to keep talking and not get too caught up in the edits that I drive myself crazy.

Blogs III: I need to add at least two people to my regular blog reads this week. Haven't decided the criteria, but that's the goal. Right now I just happen to find people through comments and go with it. Hmm..I know,  I'll click on at least three people in the comments of the blogs I already read and see if that sparks a connection.

So that's my week. Wish me luck.
