Naughty, Naughty Me
Sep. 26th, 2007 07:06 pmI'm two days behind on entries, no cookie for me. I'm also behind on my Flist. That kind of behind that you don't ever catch up from but instead you just pick a point and start over.
I've tried to still comment to at least two folks a day but I've lost track of what I said where, or if I've said anything at all, so I'm throwing in the towel and calling it a day. I've come as close as I'm coming without more dedicated time than I actually possess.

On the upside, that lack of time exist in part because I now know where the extra money is coming from for moving and no longer have that stress on my shoulders. (I have brand new stress in its place, yay). I also know where we'll move once the time comes. What I don't know is when that time will be. We haven't heard from the new building owner yet and so are left wondering if they'll be coming by with a new lease, or a notice to move, come the first of the month. I'm personally hoping that they'll just forget about us until January and that the weather holds and we can move in December. That will be plenty of time to save up and pack and sort as necessary.
I've finally culled back from four projects to two...sort of. In truth it's more like two point seven projects now, but that's better than four. One is going to wait until NaNo, and what was originally going to be written for NaNo, will be put off until December. The other project I can work on a bit at a time without any particular goals for word counts and such so it only counts as point seven rather than a full project.
I don't expect this truce to hold, too many thoughts keep sneaking in on the projects set aside, but as long as I can settle into my new routine and get ahead, I'll count myself lucky.
Next week I'll be back to page and/or wordcounts and with progress leaving me feeling happy, we can pick up the character crush conversation again. I'm thinking of giving them their own day, Tuesday or Wednesday perhaps. And then I looked at my Crush of the Week list and realized if I'm ever going to get around to mentioning all the Lovely Ladies that exist out there I won't get to them until next Christmas at this (yes, my male crush list is that long and just keeps growing) so I might have to give them their own day as well here. So all of my female inclined readers (of whatever gender and preference you fall under) who have sighed through my male CotW wondering if I'd forgotten about you, I haven't, and shall remedy that in the not too long.
Okay, I think I'm caught up with everything I'm willing to catch up on. :) Yeah, I save the true dirt for emails. *grin*
Hope you're all doing well, and if you aren't and there's something I can do, let me know.

Date: 2007-09-27 01:16 am (UTC)Now that I know it's something we can pull off financially, and we have boxes and such in the house, I'm going to happily go into denial about having to move up until two weeks before a truck shows up. That's the only way to move and survive it (and fortunately our 1 bdrm is small enough that I can pack everything in a four days, so denial works. lol)
