Beyond The Veil Blog, Market Saturation Ramble

The subject header pretty much said everything. I'm over at Beyond The Veil today with a blog on the preception of the Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance markets begin over-saturated despite feeling as if I'm constantly looking for new vampire and shifter material. 

Swing on by when you get a chance and toss in your two cents or dollar forty as the spirit moves you. 

Off to bed for me, I work tonight and and Hypnos seems amorous. Gotta catch him while he's in a good mood.

Hypnos was a friend yesterday. I haven't yet decided if I want him to be attentive today or to give me some space to get some things done before I turn it.

Whenever you want a break from the writing thing and want to screw around with something totally different.

Anyway, could you take this here icon that I used, and change it to read "moon chylde". I don't care what font you use or anything, just want the spelling to match me. I can make icons OK, but don't have the lettering abilities.

I'd just like to say that if you can find a 'new' angleon the vampires and explore issues that haven't been done or haven't been done in depth before then I think one can make their universe interesting enough to the other vampire book readers.

Exactly. No two vampire lovers or shifter lovers, love them in the exact same way. There will always be room for a unique voice that takes the mythos and moves it in a direction that's new and intricate.

And no new take will resonate with everyone, but there's always the chance that it will sweep up those who have been searching without knowing just what they're looking for.
