Non-Fiction Meme
Feb. 19th, 2008 10:05 pmI was tagged by Darla at Nichtszusagen.
a) What issues/topic interests you most--non-fiction, i.e, cooking, knitting, stitching, etc?
Psychology, Sexuality, Health & Fitness, Metaphysics, Quantum Physics, Ecology
b) Would you like to review books concerning those?
I tend to speak to everyone about books and concepts I enjoy, so I review by default of personality. :)
c) Would you like to be paid or do it as interest or hobby? Tell reasons for what ever you choose.
No, no. Being paid requires an unbiased view and sharing both the good and bad. I wouldn't want the obligation of giving negative reviews.
d) Would you recommend those to your friends and how?
I already recommend the books I like to everyone that will stand still long enough to listen.
e) If you have already done something like this, link it to your post.
Alas, no formal reviews or recommendations to be had on non-fiction. (But if you want to check out my music and fiction choices check out my early Thursday Thirteens)
f) Please don't forget to link back here or whoever tags you.

And to get this meme moving, you have to tag 10 people. I tag:
You know, the reason I don't often do memes is because I'm resistant to the "have to" part in tagging others. So this is less a tag and more of a friendly, suggestive, caress of those who came to mind. *Grin*

Some of you I always tag because I just can't help it, you's my folk. Others I'm newly tagging for the first time so you know I remember you're on my flist and appreciate it. And some I tried to tag but the lj-user button insisted you don't exist and I acquiesced in order to minimize stress. I shall tag ye another time. (And yes, there are more than ten...10 was just a suggestion. *grin*)

c) Would you like to be paid or do it as interest or hobby? Tell reasons for what ever you choose.
No, no. Being paid requires an unbiased view and sharing both the good and bad. I wouldn't want the obligation of giving negative reviews. (good answer - ditto again.)

I do recommend them on a regular basis...and I have a reading list in my user info as well.

Biology, comedy, memoirs, pregnancy, and post partum depression.

I don't know. I'm not very good at writing reviews.

To review books? I would be happy just to keep the books I've read.
d) Would you recommend those to your friends and how?
All I do is talk about books. I'm amazed my friends tolerate my babbling. :D

Sorry, no links.
